A Saree is a long piece of cloth, often beautifully designed, that wraps around the body to create an elegant and traditional look. Worn mostly by women in South Asia, it usually measures between 5 to 9 yards in length and is made of silk, cotton, and other luxurious fabrics.
To wear it, you tuck one end into a fitted skirt (petticoat), wrap it around your waist, and then pleat it to fall gracefully down the front. The remaining fabric, called the "pallu," is draped over your shoulder. Each drape and fold highlights the beauty of the fabric, and the style can vary by region, occasion, and personal taste. A saree brings both grace and confidence, making it truly special.
A Panjabi, or kurta, is a traditional, long tunic worn by men in South Asia, especially in Bengal. Made from a variety of comfortable fabrics, it has a straight cut and falls to the knees or just above, combining comfort with a dignified look. It’s worn over a pair of “pajamas”—fitted, straight pants—or sometimes a “dhoti”, which is a long piece of fabric tied and wrapped around the waist, creating a loose and flowing effect.
The pajama is practical and easy to wear, while the dhoti adds a touch of heritage and elegance. This combination of Panjabi with pajama or dhoti reflects tradition and style, perfect for both festive and everyday occasions.
